Why do people think its a n00b programming language?
Its a NEWBIE programming language...Hence the BASIC part?
Anyways, Ive been very fond of using VB6 and have made a couple programs...But do you guys think I should stop using VB all together and start doing C++ instead?

If you want to just make trainers using your source so you can be cool...then switch to c++...but if you're planning on doing something different from that, I would honestly go with C#...and ditch VB either way, I found out after 1 day that it sucks ass.

VB.net is fully OOP.
VB6 is not.

On the topic of this, if there is interest in C#, I will write a little tutorial to get started.

It's a programming language, it's not for anything specific.

I wish people would say what exactly they want to learn to program for, because this forum is so filled with maplers that they auto-assume they want to make a trainer or something.

If you're going to use a .NET language, use C#.
