Cheat Engine

Hello, everyone i just downloaded Cheat engine yesterday, i think it is an awsome program, though i noticed that you cant use it with some online multiplayer games (i.e. Starcraft, and Halo) on Starcraft i tried freezing my minerals, and i would get a game disconnected and on Halo i tried the speed hack and tried freezing my ammo but both didnt work i just got major lag... So i read that in order for those to work you have to have a packet editor, i searched google and i found the WPE pro, i tried it with a small game (that i found on a forumn that said it was good for testing WPE pro on) called TetriNET v1.13 i think (a multiplayer tetris game) and i was messing around with it and i got WPE pro to work, so i was gonna record the packets i sent to and from battle.net in starcraft but after i started the game and opened WPE pro Starcraft was not in the list (Neither was Broodwar). i can see everything else that is running with it but i cant get it to work with starcraft anyone know whats wrong? i attached the file of WPE pro i have with this

Or if someone can suggest a better packet editor that would be cool (if you do please provide a link to the website or download)

I am sorry this this post is off topic, please forgive me but high6, you need to secure your signature script. Your signature is really prone to spamming. Cookies are not the way to go when trying to prevent spammers. I know that spamming your signature isn't very practical, but you don't want people abusing it right?

Please consider making a database that stores the user's IP and the time they signed, and make it all server side.

Is there a way to make it so that starcraft's process is not hidden? or is there another packet editor that can "see" starcraft?

You can try using Ethereal, or Iris. They are sniffers only though. Ethereal is now called Wireshark i believe

allright i have been searching google for a bunch of different packet editors but i can only seem to find WPE and TS packet (something like that)

i found a few that im going to try in a little bit

try permedit from wpe pro website. And if that doesn't work try the 2 computer bypass, and if that doesn't work you could use rpe.

But i guess you only know where to find permedit hehe

now the hard part (to me, cause im new to packet editing) looking for what i need, anyone know of any good packet edits for starcraft? or a site that could help a n00bie packet editor out?

like im looking at all the packets and there are 100's of packets with just ........ and then there are some i can understand like when i hosted a server, or it was sending me 1 packet for everyone in the channel i was in etc...
The packets while im in game have like nothing in them, they have maybe 5-9 charectors with some .

Hack it with Cheat Engine. Also, does starcraft have protection? GameGuard or X-Trap? Cheat engine can find hidden processes, process watch. Or use Sauran Gang 1.01

starcraft was released back in 1999 im pretty sure they dont have any protection, i have tried cheat engine but in multiplayer you have to use a packet editor with the cheat engine other wise you will get disconnected from the battle.net, im pretty sure they dont even encrypt their packets at all i mean i sent a message to everyone that was in my game and i found and can read it in the packets... i just need to figure out what all the other mumbo jumbo is, cause its like chinese to me right now, dont have a freaking clue to what it means lol
