Well i want to start making programs of my own and im a bit confused...

I know that the source for a program can be made with c++ but once it is written how do i make it a usable program?

How is windows ddk used in making programs?

Is delphi 7 mainly just for working on the gui of a program, and how would you load then compile the code in it?

Can you just use any compiler for c++ to create a program?


This might sound nooby but im trying to learn good programming skills
