Hey. Is assembly code some sort of like.. simplified C/C++?

if so, can you un simplify it? Can you view the assembly code in memory as actual c++? Like,

if (blah clah) {
blah blah
}

etc.?


I'm not saying view it like that with CE, I'm just wondering if its possible in general. Thanks.

It is possible (see c decompilers) , but they often contain bugs especially when it wasn't made in c but a different language (e.g delphi)
