im still a noob at hacking, and i want to know what packet editing is. and if not that, then how do i hack games that dont work with the "multiply value by 8 and search"

A packet is a block of data sent through/by a network.

Editing packets can be used to edit useful packets which might hold for example... your character's level, your gold, etc.

packet editing (or in short PE) is:
do u know how a computer connect the internet? it send bytes (wich is many bits connected to each other) and recive bytes too.
because sending and reciving bytes is too slow, the conputer tie many bytes together and send them together as a "packet"
when u edit packets, u edit the things that ur computer will send and recive from server, for example if were talking about maple u can edit the packets and stop ur computer from sending the "i got hitted" command to the server. (wich means u have unlimited life)
well packet editing is more complicated, but u will be able to do many more hacks (for example to get 9999999999999999 mesos from a snail ) if ull master it.
btw im not sure if money hacks are by hacking the server or packet editing. i only know theres a great software called artmoney and i think it is some type of PE O.O im not soo good at hacking thats all i kno.

if u wanna start packet editing, download WPE, just search on google "WPE" its first thing ull see.
WPE = winsock packet editor

and i also dont get step 5 of the tut, the ce one. once i replace the value with one that does nothing, then stop, what do i do next?

edit: i dont get PE at all. i read the tut, and didnt get it.

I wouldent suggest PE, considering if your a nub to it, you might crash the games servers, resulting in a lawsuit..

Get VERY good at it before you try it with AQ or anything else...

I'm pretty sure packet editing is illegal, but I've heard WPE Pro is a great program for doing it.
