Cheat Engine

Well, as part of my project i need to extract the G-force data from a rollercoatser game (In this case, NoLimitsCoaster)

I have used a memory scanner (Like TSearch/Cheat Engine) to find the memory address of this data, but i hit a snag, i can only get the data in HEX from (Like in the "Memory View"), i need it in double.... How does one change the hex to the double?
