| Hello, I have been trying to create a no skill delay cheat for time rush in Quantum Break for almost a week now, I have seen countless youtube tutorials, red too many reddit posts, and even talked with a freaking cheat engine trained AI for hours Only to come back empty handed and realize THIS IS TOO COMPLEX AND IM NOT GOOD AT IT, Which brings me here, if anyone has tips, suggestions, anything really it would be greatly apreciated, Thank You.

| Hard to tell what exactly your stuck on, if you told us what exactly the problem is then we might be able to help, people in this community take a while or dont respond whatsoever, if your having trouble with a specific thing like finding the variable or finding a function you should include that.

Hey its me, ignore the different name its because I'm away from home, So I am able to consistently find an address, actually a couple that act the same away (only searching float values) that increases in milliseconds every time shift is being held down so it goes like 0.5 1 1.5 and so on but sometimes is will go 0.4 0.9666 1.3444 you know slight variations, this address when frozen makes it so that the skill never activates no matter how long you press shift for, by the way the goal is to remove activation delay of time rush don't know if I mentioned that, delay is shorter upon first use but becomes greater if you try to use it again right away, anyway when frozen yo cant use time rush only time dash which is only by pressing shift not holding it, this address tends to write to two things sometimes a couple more but it they always follow the same logic, most of them or one of them count up while shift is not pressed and the other or only one counts up while shift is pressed, this time not in the millisecond manner the number just quickly increases, If it is of help I can paste the exact script of these instructions this address writes to when I come back home however I've tried changing it and it didn't seem to have any good results which makes me think it is not the correct address, but then again I do not understand any of it and just used scripts made by AI and replaced some codes with a few NOPs at a time so who knowns.

| I just got the game and tried to get the cooldown/delay for the function thats run when you press shift but i cannot seem to find a value that matches your description of (0.5, 1.0, 1.5) or anything likely related to that. still trying to find the value as i speak lol.

Try to freeze the game while holding shift right before the skill triggers (before the wolrd ''shatters'' and goes slowmo) and do a increase value scan, then unfreeze the game and do a decrease value scan, repeat that a bunch then without touching shift at all jump shoot and reload while doing unchanged value scans to trim down results (you should have hotkeys set for these scans to make life easier) that's how I was able to find it, You will a see one or more addresses that while holding shift will go 0.6333 1.2 1.7 2.3 2.8 something of that nature until you release shift at which point it turns to 0
If you cant find it I should be home by this weekend, maybe I can give you the pointer to it? I don't know if the code of ''what writes to this address'' resets every restart like the address itself or not, If it doesn't Ill find it and paste it here, then you can search for it in disassembler and click ''find what access this address'' to find the address in YOUR game instead of mine since they change every time you boot up the game

| Looking at the keybinds right now and i haven't actually got time rush unlocked, i have only got time dodge, my bad lmao, when is time rush unlocked? enjoying playing this game anyways i'll probs unlock it soon

You unlock it on Act 3 Part 1 (aka Research Facility) a shame since there aren't that many levels after that, It would be great to use them anywhere with cheat engine but I don't know if that is even possible

| I was able to locate the value that changes the value of how full the time rush bar is when you enable time rush, only problem is the value is originally float "0.00781250000000045" when time rush is full, when time rush is depleted the float number is just a random number which is really weird, but forcing the number to stay on the "full" double value in CE forces it to stay there and you get infinite time rush, im using a version which is cracked soo i doubt mine will work, im playing Quantum Break 1.0.126.0307.

I have a cheat table that does that too (its not allowing me to attach it for some reason), only problem is finding the address that stores how long it takes you to activate, I tried playing with the fact that it takes 3 or 4 times as long to activate it if you just used it right before, but its difficult, specially with the fact that most values completely bonkers except that one I told you about, seemed like the only logical one

| Sorry i got caught up with something else and no i wasn't able to get the right address, it left me with thousands of addresses , could only get it down to about 500, did you just work with that amount?

No, I only tackle less then a 100 tops, did you bind a key to unchanged value scan and started jumping shooting and reloading while pressing it a bunch? that tends to lower it a lot, but since you are saying 500, means you got out of the thousands range and might have already done this, in that case, maybe more increase/decrease value scans. I will be going home tomorrow when I get there I'll paste the lines of code I believe have something to do with this damn ability's activation logic, just based on the fact that it increases while using it and disables it when you freeze its address, can you make sense of what's written in disassembler? Cause I don't lol, if it says anything to you it will make things more clearer, I'm not sure about this address though, chatGPT made me some LUA scripts to try and it didn't do much, makes me think it is related to some graphics function of the game when time rush is triggered or something else
PS: Just to repeat what I did -- Bind a key to freeze the game and all its processes, press shift and right before jack goes into time rush hit this key and do Increase value (or decrease I mean who knows, I did Increase first) Then unfreeze the game wait like a second or two and do decrease value. Second time around you will noticed that it takes WAY longer to activate time rush after just doing so, press shift for a while longer and again right before it goes freeze the game and so on so forth. That's it, I just repeated that over and over and then did the unchanged value thing and you're left with 90 addresses or so
I believe at first I did scans while in the middle of time rush, afterwards I started scanning right before it triggered, hoping to get what value changes right at that time. However maybe scanning during it can lead to betters results?

I just did a Youtube tutorial, You might not understand much thought because I used a lot hotkeys, just know that I'm pressing shift freezing the game, increase scan. Then unfreeze the game and decrease scan.
Also when I open what writes to this address the address on the bottom increases while holding shift, the one on the top increases while shift is not being held

Ok Bottom line, is this the right address? Don't know, All I do know is it is the only one that makes any semblance of sense, its clearly counting in milliseconds 0.5, 0.10, 0.15
