CE not finding what accesses/writes this address

How do I cheat?

I have found several addresses that all seem to hold a resource value. However, when I use "Find what accesses/writes this address", it gives me nothing. This is despite cleary seeing the actual value at the memory address being changed. Why is this?

Not a virtual machine but I guess the game is kind of emulated? I am using the google play games beta to run the game. How does that affect it?
