Cheat Engine

So before I go into detail I want to say I'm not directly using cheat engine because i'm memory editing on a console. But I have access to Pointer Scanning, Assembly, and setting Break/Watch points.

I don't want to name the game specifically, but it is offline in a lan mode environment so no online servers and it's a FPS game.

I've found the static base address and offsets for ammo and health

Ammo: B9742E8 + 18F8
Health: 993FC48 + 1E8

When I try to search for XYZ nothing happens when I freeze any values.

My techniques have involved unknown initial value for first scan, then go up some stairs a bit then search increase value then go down a bit and search decrease value. I've also tried doing changed and unchanged using the stairs.

I can get down to around less than 1k or so and I go and lock about 15 at a time and try to jump but nothing changes.

Is there a better way of doing this? I know it's possible in this game because I've seen someone else have super speed and teleport to the sky.
