Hello everyone,
so first off, I'd like to say that my old CE 7.4 version is still working great. I can scan any game without issues.
However CE 7.5 is a different story. No matter which game (from STEAM or EPIC) I try to scan, I keep getting the error "Scan error:controller:No readable memory found". Interestingly, when I try to scan a simple Windows Program like MS Paint, I do not get this error, but even so nothing happens. No addresses are displayed, the list just remains empty.
I compiled CE 7.5 just like 7.4 by using Lazarus and I did not change any of the default CE settings. I also tried downloading the source again and recompiling it, but it's still the same problem. I have to say, I'm really at a loss here. Never had any problems with CE up until now.
I am running Windows 11 Version 23H2.

go to settings-scan settings, and tick mem_mapped

Hello Dark Byte,
EDIT: I deleted my previous message. Your hint put me on the right track. I built the 64-bit version and now everything works. So thank you a lot for that, you're the best! Also thank you for your inexhaustible service to this community
If I may only give a single piece of recommendation:
Could you maybe update the GitHub "Basic Build Instructions" ?
If you could just write a single sentence about choosing to build either 32-bit or 64-bit and where to find the button for that in Lazarus, I think that would help a lot and make people less confused about the whole process.
Anyways, thank you and please feel free to close this thread.
