I have an old game that was made in 2004. When I try scanning for a certain value like ammo, for example, the scan list doesn't return any value after reducing the amount of ammo. I have tried scanning for unknown initial values and searching for decreased values each time the magazine reloads occur, and I have had luck getting the value. However, it is a gigantic value and does not reflect the real ammo value. But when I increase the value, the ammo does increase. I have tried changing the alignment from 4 to 1, and the real ammo value does show. Now, I want to do a pointer scan on this value, which its address is not a multiple of 4, but the pointer scanner refuses to scan such an address (not a multiple of 4). By increasing the address number to become a multiple of 4, can I do something about such an issue. I want to force the pointer scanner to use the exact address, not a multiple of 4?

You can adjust the last offset of the pointer path yourself.

Of course, if pointers aren't aligned either, then the pointer scanner won't work. There should be an "unaligned" option somewhere in the pointer scan settings IIRC. Something about "compressed pointerscan files" might need to be disabled too. Make sure you're using multiple pointermaps. See this for more information:

PS: are you sure it isn't a 2-byte or 1-byte value? Look at what instructions access the address of that value and it'll give you a good idea of what type the game is treating that value as.
