|
|
[Loading DBVM without the driver on a secure boot enabled system - YouTube](watch?v=RRtsZE99UMw)
In my laptop, it is not possible to enroll efi, so I can only see the rEFInd selection at startup, and when I select rEFInd, I can only see the Windows option.
So I thought it would be enough to be able to show DBVMUEFI.EFI at boot time again, so I tried inserting another USB flash drive and put DBVMUEFI.EFI into EFI/BOOT/DBVMUEFI.EFI. But this wasn't recognized because the name wasn't bootx64.EFI.
So I changed DBVMUEFI.EFI to bootx64.EFI and eventually all of them showed up in the boot list.
Then I went into rEFInd and this time I could see Windows and the three little circles, first I clicked on the three little circles, and after a while of code and then i went in to Windows, it didn't end up working.
I noticed that the code in the DBVMUEFI.EFI (bootx64.EFI) that I was running and the one in the video seemed to be different, the code I had here was quick and contained very little. So I don't seem to be doing it correctly this way.
My final question is, is there any other way to use USB DBVM if the BIOS can't enroll efi?
---
I tried to add DBVMUEFI.EFI to the boot list using EASYUEFI, and outwardly it looks the same as in the video. But it ultimately failed.
---
I'm giving up on USB.
i did this:
windows11 Pro 22H2
open vt-x
disable hyper-v
disable virtual platform
disable core isolation
disable vbs
Create a new DWORD named VulnerableDriverBlocklistEnable and set to 0
then dbvm work.

if rEFInd koafs enroll apparantly isn't needed as it already alliws loading different EFI files
but i see you already got it working. What was it ?
