Cheat Engine detected, but in a weird way

Cheat Engine remains undetected when a certain game is running. Will not close at launch, or even during a game. However, as soon as I search for something, anything, the game will close immediately after the search has concluded. Not before, not after, always when the search concludes. Anyone have any idea why or what could be causing this?

Sounds like a Blizzturd game. Warden or something, the protection mechanism was called?
You need to debug a bit to find out how to disable Warden and then you can hack the game to smithereens as usual.
