I am working on a very old (made in 2004) online RPG game.
This game is very old, and it is already common for all users to play the game through cheating.
Users are already cheating and using various options such as increased movement speed and increased damage.
What I want to do is control the in-game 1:1 chat.
If you create a 1:1 chat room with a user and send a message, a chat notification will appear to that user.
However, I would like to display only new message notifications in the UI of a specific user without any sent messages.
It's impossible in general, but it's an old Korean online game that's only 200MB, and it's already a game where cheating is rampant, so I'm thinking that there might be a way, so I'm asking a question.
please help me

You can't change how the client operates for another user without having access to their hardware.
You could do this for yourself, but you would have to reverse engineer how everything operates, parse for what you wanted, squash the undesired operation, and then prep and call the correct functions based on what you wanted to occur.
