how can i know where value ebp is pointing to comes from?

there is no code before push ebp

ebp value is an address that when i put a breakpoint temproraliy holds my value, it gets into eax and eax is put into my display variable


how can i find where my temporary ebp is coming from?

it's a parameter of the function you're in.

the caller of this function pushed the value on the stack before calling this function
