Can I allocate to an address in one script and read from it in another script? If so, can you show me an example.

You can use globalAlloc.
Code:

globalAlloc(symbol, size, address)


e.g.:
Code:

globalAlloc(my_symbol, $1000, Tutorial-x86_64.exe)
