Hi there,
The only similar thread I could find is post 5760082 but since i have 500GB free space I guess that shouldn't be an issue? Although I have to admit the error occurs when the initial unknown scan has thousands of millions of results and ce is displaying the "the previous scan is still processing..." message.
So here goes. Sometimes when looking for health bars for me it seems the easiest way to get the health value is by going after estimated percentages.
So health bar is full -> first scan unknown initial value
health bar 50% -> scan value between 40% and 60%.
health bar 25% -> scan value between 20% and 30%. [x] compare against first scan
But very often (and really only in this "method") I get the error message:

or similar. and then:

Can anyone explain if I am doing something wrong?
Using 7.4 (cheatengine-x86_64-SSE4-AVX2.exe) on a 64bit game
All vanilla without mods.
oh and generate error logs is checked but the cedebug.txt in the ce .exe directory only contains this:
