hello. i try to cheat a game. i find the score address and thr address that writes to the score adrs.

the code that writes is

mov [rdi],rax

the code changes other things aswell so i cant just change it. when it changes the score address' value, the rdi is the score address.

my question is, how can i nop the code only for the score?
i dont want the game to change the score after i changed it manually but i still want the code to work in general.

my thought is

cmp rdi,score address

jne original code

jmp exit

originalcode:

mov [rdi],rax

jmp exit


will it work? i have never tried to alter a code function to only some of it's accessed addresses.(i mean the comparing of the rdi).
how should i do it?
