Hey, im still learning Cheat Engine and i can find pointer in so many games and i use the pointer in my C# Trainer.
But i try to search pointer in Dying Light 2 and the only one i got is the Cash pointer.
I search for Health and got ONLY in "what accsess to this adress scan" offset 04 and in memory viewer the same code after restart the game BUT i cant find another offsets and i cant find the right pointer.
In memory Viewer with right click and "replace with code what do nothing" and i see its the right pointer BUT in C# dosnt work BUT in Full Injection template script works fine.
Pointermapscan are 10000 pointers and after restart are ALL pointer empty and nothing works.
I use VEH debugger and pause the game on value scanning.
can everyone make a Video to find Pointer in Dying Light 2 ? Dying light 2 is very hard to find pointer, i got just 1 pointer for Cash.
my trainer projects actual on github: State of Decay 2, Dead Island Riptide Definitiv Edition, Saints Row The Third Remastered, Dying Light 2.
State Of Decay 2 was hard but after many trys i found all pointer.
make everyone a video with good tactics to find pointer in dying light 2 and other hard games. |

I honestly just tend to use hooks to get the addresses I want. But while looking for a good spot to hook health, I found where health seemed to trace back to an entity list. So that might be the issue you're having. If you break and trace on the instruction that fires constantly for health, with a condition of RCX == your health base. Then you'll find where it returns. Then go up and break and trace before the call with no condition and down a ways in the instructions you'll find the entity list lookup. Don't remember exactly but something like "mov rcx,[rax+rdx*8]". I think it was like 2 calls deep. But I tend to avoid entity lists, and in this case just hooked some code right after the entity lookup. So still not sure if it's an entity list or player values/properties list. _________________
