So this game I am playing has a nack for obscuring pointers, using an AND operation to unscramble them...



The function fixes the pointers that are obscured but not sure How I can do an injection 1 offset before this, as that is required in order to get the main pointer offset before it splits into 5 others.

5B 00 ruins it.

it's using packed pointers
Most systems can only address 48 bit virtual memory addresses so the other 16 bits would be useless data, it'd either be sign extended to be kernelmode (useless for an game) or 0

It's likely using the free space for some extra data

You just and it with 0xffffffffffff yourself to strip of the useless data

Tip: in CE you can use the lua command setPointerSize(6) so it can read these pointers
