Apologizes if this had been asked elsewhere/is in the wrong forum, but can cheat engine be used to change appearances on mmorpgs? Im just looking for a way to bypass gender locked hair styles and have found no conclusive answers anywhere.

As the rule states, it is fine to discuss as long as the name of the game and no identifying things about it are posted. This topic does not break the rules.

Yes, Cheat Engine can be used to alter the visuals of a model in an MMO. The difficulty/requirements to do so will range based on the game though and how it implements the way it updates the model visuals. In a lot of games, its as simple as an array of ids for each slot/part of the model that can be changed. (ie. the base sex/race, hair/look, then each slot like head, body, hands, legs, feet, etc.)
