Sorry if this was asked before but I have been scrolling across forums and videos about GameMaker games which have this similar sort of scenario and I've looked up numerous guides into getting my things done however it's taking me months to figure out how to get my things done.
The game in question is Assetto Corsa, I have found tons and tons of instructions that hold really useful addresses but when it comes to using them or retrieving them later in a meaningful value that could be understood by anyone... it's a huge pain in the back.
For instance, I found an instruction that holds the current car setup values in float but when I click to find what addresses access this instruction there's a lot of them accessing at the same time and I can change them as well but for some values, they are coded into the game beforehand and can be changed but you'd need to cross-check it with the car's data file which it was provided with (normally in .ini files or .lut).
I've tried looking in through stack to see what distinguishes all these addresses and sometimes it gets overwhelming, I can't think of segregating one from all (useful only if you're trying to modify player-related/enemy related addresses) as they all equally contribute some part of the game.
The only way I can think about now is to use Cheat Engine's pointers to get my things done but it'll be a lot of scanning to go for.
One thing I want to mention before is that the values which are coded before in the game are in a .ini file where you can type out whatever you want and it'll be processed into the game (really useful if you want to find a particular function on the game by setting an abnormal number and making sure the game does not crash) only drawback is that it depends on each car and not all are the same so one car might be missing something but the other car might have and also once the game loads the .ini file it can no longer be changed and I need to look through instructions in which it holds what I want to change.
What I'm thinking is that if it's theoretically possible for Cheat Engine to somehow cross-check .ini files and maybe then filter out the multiple addresses accessing a single instruction saying that this might be the rear-left float suspension value then this might be the rear-right float suspension value? Or how else should I go about segregating it since it's time-consuming and not finding any leads as to how I can segregate them.
