Documenting what I've found with the attached screenshot.
I was going through the Cheat Engine tutorial on OSX with M1, and noticed that "find what writes to this address" isn't working very well. I assume due to ARM64.
That said, my knowledge of the assembly world is pretty basic, I could be totally wrong. I was going to use Cheat Engine to have some fun with things on vacation. Computer Systems: A Programmer's Perspective or Nand2Tetris
are probably on the to read list for 2025 at this point.
But I assume supporting non x86_64 instructions is not exactly simple and easy for anyone.
However I thought I'd document it anyway.

might be more an issue of the x86 emulator on macOS as the tutorial is x86 as well. (could be a permission issue)
syslogd may show some info when trying to debug
