How do I cheat?

So, I've done everything to open the Cheat Engine 7.1 setup, nothing, it just appears, no icon on the task manager, then shortly disappears, I've restarted (yes, restarted, not shut down and boot up again.) And it still doesn't work, can I get some help? It'd be greatly appreciated.

Is your av disabled? If not you can add cheat engine to ignore detections list

Do I need to turn off all of W Defender's features? I have Cheat Engine on the allowed softwares, I have Reputation Based Settings off.

If you have BadLion installed, then uninstall it and reboot your system.
