How do I cheat?

Hello, I am having an issue where after reaching the end of the installation wizard, cheat engine does not actually install in any capacity. I have disabled my antivirus and firewall in order to solve previous issues of inadequate permissions, so I don't think it should be affecting the actual install.
Any help is appreciated, thank you.

do you have an adblocker that blocks downloads from known advertiser networks ?

Hello - Yes, but I have actually solved my previous issue, running into a new one in the process. I have a clean installation of CE 7.1, but the executable refuses to launch. I checked task manager and saw CE pop up in one instance, before quickly disappearing.
I have uninstalled my antivirus fully now, and following your advice on another post, I also ran the uninstallation file for badlion. However, the executable will not launch. Any clue what might be causing this? Thanks for your help man.

You need to restart windows. Not shut down and back on, actual restart.
And hope the uninstaller actually worked
