Cheat Engine

So have this button "Start Game".
And i need to detect where is the function that Starts the game when this button is clicked.

So after some searches the only technique i found is to search for a boolean 0, and then click the button and pause, and search for 1.

Is there any othe technique? Because this is not giving me the right function.

I also heard of ultimap. But i dont have intel.

Pls help.
