Hey guys,
I need some help because i am stuck..
Okay, so i recently purchased CarX Drift Racing Online, the game works offline and really nothing is stored online except progress AFAIK so it's not server sided starting with that. And secondly i'm pretty sure it runs on Unity
I have the following problem and i'll do my absolute best to explain it, because i've yet to encounter something like this
Let's say you want to hack your score value, so you drift a bit, find the value, no matter how you look for the value, either changed unchanged or 4 byte exact value you still land on the same thing, which is your score, there's 2 addresses of the score ALWAYS, if you try to change the score it makes literally no difference, if you try freezing it again, no difference so i was like what will happen if i NOP the code that is writing to that address and what happens is the freaking code re-appears just somewhere else and i have no clue how this is done or how i can actually hack any value in this game, i'm completely stuck..
I tried different scanning methods, different debugger options, maybe the value is encrypted but no matter what, i can not get it to change to anything else than the actual REAL score. Also it's worth noting, even if i make the value let's say 9999 in an Auto Assembler script, the value still stays to the real one no matter how you update it and it displays and counts the real one when you finish the track..
And on one of the 2 addresses if you try a simple instruction like for ex:
| Code: |
//op code for moving value into said score address
mov [eax+20],esi
// changing this to this
mov [esi+20],#10000
|
The game just crashes..
Any help or advice would be appreciated, thanks in advance
P.S. - No matter what values you find using changed unchanged and using all type values, if you freeze them nothing happens..
Edit: If I NOP All instructions that write to both addresses nothing happens, the game just keeps the score, does that mean it's encrypted? I tried going for changed unchanged again after NOP on both write instructions, no result, i see no real value, is this even possible?
