How do I cheat?

Hey, I need help with enabling these two settings. Every time I try to turn them on I get an error saying "The driver couldn't be opened! It's not loaded or not responding. I recommend to reboot your system and try again." I've tried restarting, uninstalling restarting reinstalling, tried disabling antivirus while doing the above, and tried installing older versions of cheat engine but can't find any. I'm not too tech savvy I just know the basics. For a tutorial I need to enable these.
