Cheat Engine

So, my cheatengine disappeared yesterday. I tried reinstalling but even the installer keeps vanishing when I run it and I have to redownload.

I decided to check what might be doing so, so I:

1: Run as admin
2: Disabled my antivirus
3: Disabled my firewall

both changed nothing. I am fairly sure one of them is the culprit, but even when they are disabled, it still happens. Can anyone help me out here? I'm unsure what to do?

I can't find any active processes that would be anti-cheat stuff...

It is also outside of any game. Just running the installer makes it vanish :/

Right, so I seem to have managed to figure it out. In case anyone else has this problem, here's what I did.

I restarted my system a few times, and suddenly my firewall told me it was isolating the launcher. I had previously turned off the firewall but, apparently, that had still been running (???). With the notification, I could finally unblock cheatengine.

The thing had deleted my previous installation, PLUS my bloody installers. Jeez... Anyway, I can't tell you why it didn't inform me until the 100th time, but following these steps may help? Not sure, to be honest.
