Trying to do a simple hack on Minecraft, but I can't seem to find the locations. Started with a stack of 33 dirt and I kept changing the value while searching for those values, but 0 results come up. Anyone have any ideas?

We are not guessers, you have to be more specific about the type of search you have done, if you have acted by unknown value and the type of data.
But I tell you that the fact that you did the scan with a stack of 33 blocks is irrelevant, your coordinates even if starting from 0 and salts of 10 precise blocks will not be 10, but will be stored in a float or double and could be something like "107,2139714390" and if I am not mistaken there is a method to display your cordinates in minecraft of which I am not currently aware

Oh, sorry. Didn't mean to be vague, but I guess it came out that way Razz.

I meant I was doing a search for memory locations and couldn't find anything. I started with 33 blocks of dirt, searched for the exact amount of 33, removed a block of dirt so that I now had 32 blocks of dirt, searched for the exact amount of 32, etc. But when I finished, no search results came up.

I have subsequently done some more searching, and apparently, JVM changes memory address locations frequently, so unless you can find the pointer, you won't be able to change the appropriate memory slots.

Although I know how to find memory slots if the pointers change infrequently (such as the case with emulators that change only when starting up the program), I don't know how to find them if they change frequently (rapidly while the program is running, such as JVM). Any ideas on how to do this?

I had asked if you had searched for "Unknow value" and "Float" or "Double", and in any case I don't understand why the memory locations should change, I think the address is always the same but you are not looking for it correctly.

Danny, OutLivingLife may be too polite to say it, but don't be an idiot, and if you do so by mistake, don't double down on the idiocy.

It was clear he was looking for memory locations, and that game coordinates had nothing to do with his question, and your final comment that he is "not looking for it correctly" is both insulting and lame.

It's insulting because he is right - the address does change. The Java garbage collector does that, IIRC.

It's lame because he is here asking for help with his search - obviously what he's doing isn't working, he acknowledges that and is here for help. Telling him he's doing it wrong and not even making an attempt to help is the least helpful thing you could do.

For anyone else coming here from google, you are not alone. Somewhere along the line cheat engine lost the ability to scan down variables in Minecraft (I say lost the ability - I'm 99.9% sure that it's due to changes in MineCraft and nothing wrong with CE, but CE used to be able to scan down these vars...)
