There is this button that goes to a random idle vil that you have.
Im trying to create a mod, that instead of going to a random idle vil. It will go to the closest idle vil. Which is much better.
I have it all setup already. With a square root calculations.
But i cant get a good list of the idle vils.
I tried making searches, and more searches. With even change value and unchanged.
I have the unit object specific address. Where it written the coordinates position and the health of the unit. But nothing refers specifically to the unit being idle or not.
The best i could do so far. Was by getting the current sprite img of the unit, and comparing. And it has good results 90% of the times, but sometimes the unit randomly has a sprite that screws up the code.
There is also a button that gets the idle villager as you can see in the image. I tried finding that button by pressing it and making searches and got only to a very obscure early function that relates to all button presses regardless. So that is not good.
There is also a button that shows all idle villagers in the map only. I tried changing the idle villager position, to see if something showed in the searches and nothing.
I did find the idle villager string. By making vils idle and searching for the number. But the function connected to it, is a major function that writes all the strings in the screen.
Should i use DBVM as the last resort? Or there are still other options? How should i go about it?
