You need to debug it and see how it's encrypted.
Then, you can add whatever value you want.

An alternative to this is hooking the code that performs the decryption and change it while it's non-encrypted.
The problem with this one is that most likely tons of other values will have to filtered.

Are you sure it's not a pointer?

Learn asm. You won't find a tutorial in the vast majority of cases.

That code writes nothing but zeroes - probably initialization of instance.
