I got the cheat engine from the official site (have checked on these forums too), and yet it won't let me run it, I tried downloading it again too, and the same problem.

uninstall badlion and restart windows

don't delete random files, uninstall using their uninstaller, it infects your windows folder as well

also restart windows, do not shut down and back on, actual restart
