I'm trying to make my first table. I'm using Mass Effect for this. I can find my XP and change it, but when I try to find what accesses it (by attaching the debugger), the game crashes as soon as I do something that changes the XP in game. Any help is appreciated.

Try the VEH debugger interface

That worked but it seems there's more than one level of indirection... Maybe I should try an easier game. Any suggestions?

What is this VEH debugger? I am trying to use cheat engine on a 90's mac emulator called "BasiliskII" and I need to find out what accesses a value. Every time I try to find out what accesses a value that program also crashes so if there's a way through this VEH debugger I would love to hear it.

EDIT: Never mind, I found it under the debugger settings.
