So when i am using speedhack x3-x5 on games like xcom and other tactical turn based games , it cranks up my gpu usage up to 100 percent and i was just wondering is there a way to avoid that and relieve some pressure from my gpu. Usually i am running games at 60 fps and speedhacking at x3 and x5 in some cases.
Is there any other methods you guys would suggest? Thanks.

On a side note i found this weird workaround , when i am limiting my game to 10 fps using Rivatuner limiter and speedhacking at that point , it kinda applies the same speedhack effect but not cranking up my gpu usage , not really sure the correct explanation of this , but it kinda works i guess. Looks horrible though.

Either lower the quality of the game , don't go faster than x2, or buy a faster GPU

It depends on the game , some games run really well with x3-x5 speedhack and don't really use too much of my gpu and other games like gears tactics for example use all my gpu power after i apply x3-x4 speedhack and heat it up too high for a comfortable chill session ,cause i like to leave it on x3 and play my misssion on that speed.

i think lowering the quality of the game is the only solution.

Maybe using riva tuner to limit fps and lowering the quality of the game could be a potential solution.
