Cheat Engine

It starts, but immidately shuts down. After browsing similar forum topics here I found that the advice is to uninstall badlion, but the thing is: I don't have badlion. Don't even know what it is.

I don't have a problem installing cheatenige on my 10 year old laptop, but it won't install on my desktop. Don't have antivirus on it, and windows defender has been disabled for this operation.

Help please.

This is the first time I heard about 'Cheatengine70.exe' because the cheat engine starts by these 3 processes:

- Cheat Engine.exe or
- cheatengine-i386.exe or
- cheatengine-x86_64.exe

(See to where the Cheat Folder installed).

From where you download the cheat engine source?.
Are you playing minecraft?.

Try open command prompt (as administrator) and execute these:

I downloaded cheatengine from cheatengine.org. It was a big green button at the middle of the page. I later found out I could download cheatengine without the installer, and that worked fine. I have gotten it to work no. It's just the installer that gave me issues.

I see, then that is miscommunication. cheatengine70.exe is a installer for cheat engine 7.0, not the cheat engine process itself. So, in this case you mean "cheat engine 7.0 installer' doesn't start, if I am not wrong.
