Sometimes when I lock a value then I try to change the description or other items like the value, the popup box to make the changes will not allow me to close, cancel, or press OK.

I end up having to close the program, or force quit CE.

What am I doing wrong?

Try increasing the freeze interval in settings, or use the thread option there

Have not had time to fully test this, but I know that I have it set to one, or else there is no impact in the freeze.

Any other way around this issue, so that I can use 1?

Get a faster cpu and gpu, or use a code injection.
If you need a freeze of 1 you are doing something wrong, but try tge thread option there

I have a 9900k and a 2080ti. I must be doing something wrong. Oh maybe it’s because it’s emulators. Yuzu seems to have some issues unless I use a freeze of 1. For example the counters or floats will not respond.

Try the thread freeze option instead in settings (assuming you use ce 7)

Tried that and it was not responsive at all there were floats that would write each cycle and when I tried to lock the value with my own it would have no impact either.

Is there a way to pause CE when the window locks so that it least it could be closed?
