I love the stick ranger series, and have been astronomically stomped as to how to hack this game. ive searched for hours, i feel like it might just be one little clue im missing.

anyway, i have to no avail been able to hack the game. I just want to alter a simple, value, like the gold, but nothing has bore fruit.

its a game on the dan-ball site, its not flashplayer, i think its java.
But i have not found a single clue as to how to hack the game, or java based games.

theres no process in chrome task manager that gives clues, ive tried all the different processes in firefox searching for all value types. The last thing i would have to do is trial and error unknown initial value on all processes to see if that might work. But that would take a while (less time than all the time ive spent searching for a way to hack the damn game, but still a while)

any one have any tips? point in the right direction? pls halp

I hacked the first one a while ago. If this is anything like the first, it's written in obfuscated javascript. Instead of CE, use the debugging facilities built into most browsers (chromium/firefox and their derivatives are sufficient). Keep looking through the code and you'll eventually find something important. Searching for references to text will help- literal strings are generally in plaintext.

IIRC the first one had a checksum or some sort of redundant validation to detect changing values. I'd guess the second has this as well, so disable that when you find it.

ps: java is not javascript
