Cheat Engine

Help i am playing a game and i did ce using lazarus to not detect it since whenever i open normal cheat engine the game automatically closed. The thing is i made undetected ce but when i select the process's .exe it crashes my game. It is my first time to encountered this , can someone explain it and how to avoid this.? Thank you in advance.

try opening any other unrelated process and see if it still happens

I did try it , i think the game is using some anti hacks in which prevents me to select the process of the game (MMORPG Private Server) is there a way to bypass it?
