Am trying to find pointers to HP/ammo/stamina in god eater 3, using the "find what access this address" method

Managed to find the dynamic address for all 3 stored in float

I used potions/took damage in game and managed to get the offsets and probable pointer value, but CE returned no results/addresses when I tried to put the "probable value" into 4 bytes hex scan

Any advice on how to approach this?

Also I'm still an idiot in cheat engine/coding but even if its a multi-layered pointer I should still be getting results by putting the probable value into the hex scan right?

I also noted that the hex value seems much larger than my previous experience with other games (ie. 20b487ce020) not sure if its related

I don't have the game but with an address like 20b487ce020 then it's a 64 bit game meaning it uses 8 bytes for the addresses/pointers and if you use 4 byte then you'd only scan for the last 4 bytes (8 hex digits) of the address, though yes even then you should still get some results on a first scan because it would still be stored in memory.

Not really sure what to tell you though, once I learned enough to start using AA scripts I pretty much stopped trying to find pointers, they usually take longer and break easier and aren't as flexible as writing code if you want to do more than set and freeze a value.
