I've tested this on Windows 7 and 10. Whenever I want to search for any memory with 'Query memory region routines' (incl Read/Write ProcessMemory), the progress bar reaches between 60-70% and after that my PC completely freezes. Is there any way to fix this?
The driver is loaded but DBVM is not enabled (which I'd like to keep this way).
If currently there's no other fix, I'd return to enabling DBVM and just scanning PhysicalMemory as that doesn't crash. Apart from that there's another question regarding this. If I enable DBVM, make my changes, unload the driver & put my pc into sleep and wake it up (to disable DBVM), will all changes I made still be there or will windows reset memory values on wake up? (When put to sleep, no reboot). As I have no idea what Windows does to my memory when it awakes.
Thanks in advance.
