|
|
For your information, I do have a CE "bypass" (called nopde), and it works on Windows 10 Metro apps even though it has anti-cheat on it.
Now, for what I'm wanting to do...
Settings > System > Display > Advanced Scaling Settings
It allows you to set a value between 100 and 500, but I want to set the minimum value to at least 66.666666...... if not lower. My monitor that I have alongside my laptop is huge, and was advertised to have 1080p full HD, but its max is 720 and changing the max resolution/dpi through the registry editor has been "patched", so I need to change it in the settings app, and I've already tried for the resolution through CE with no result.
Can anybody help me figure this out, or is it impossible? (Oh, and also, is it the SettingsBroker.exe or is it something else? That might be why it won't work for me.)

Wait, what do you act. want to achieve? Do you:
- want to Display a 1080p Resolution on a 720p Display (aka Downsampling)?
- think the Display can show 1080p and trick it into showing though not officially supported?
- want the results to show off in - Desktop, Games, both?
Regardless, setting it to lower Scaling Setting would prob not work, I don't think this system option has interpolation included. But actually the drivers do support that, either with VSR/DSR + proper higher resolution or (at least with nvidia) custom Resolution, or modded inf, if your display downscales that. But it will probably look ugly. The only option would be if there is just some problem displaying 1080p though it can display it. But I guess that's anyway the wrong forum for that topic. Better move to blurbuster & Co.

I want to do something similar to downsampling... My display supports 1080p, but I want to to display as 720p with the window/graphic scale of a 1080p monitor, so basically have 720p as my current resolution but have screen elements be the size they would be on a 1080p monitor (around 67% size on 720p).
