How do I cheat?

I just need change the display value of my level, not the actual server stored value. But I don't want to change it and then have it change back as soon as I do something that would increase it, like getting enough exp for a level up. How do I do this?

Find what writes to it and then do a code injection and filter out if it's used for other things as well (or just nop it)

Or find a pointer to it and freeze it

(Still won't have much effect on the gameplay though)

I recall reading something about flash games having values that are multiplied by 8. So do I do a 4 byte scan of my lvl * 8?

Some flash games, not all. Here's a template for those.
Often times, Flash games use the 'double' type as well.
