Cheat Engine

Hello people!

I am having troubles installing Cheat Engine 6.8.1.
Once i run the Setup file (no matter if normal or as administrator) i get the following error:

Setup was unable to create the directory.
"C:\Users\Sergey\Documents\My Cheat Tables".

Error 2: The system cannot find the file specified.

As mentioned before, i have tried running the setup as admin, i have tried installing different versions of Cheat Engine (6.5, 6.6, etc.)
I have tried installing the Cheat Engine setup file multiple times in case the setup file was corrupt, even tried downloading from different websites.
I have tried installing cheat engine on different drives aswell as installing it from different devices (external disk, usb, etc).

Youtube/Google did not help me, all i found was how to delete undeletable/"locked" folders thanks to a software/throught mmc.

I am running Windows 10 Education 64x, if more info is necessary i will provide it.

have you tried creating C:\Users\Sergey\Documents\My Cheat Tables yourself?

Actually i have. I created a folder with the specified name, didn't work. I also tried changing name of the installation file (setup), no results. I have tried renaming the installation name itself (what cheat engine will be called when it gets installed), nothing. As i mentioned before, tried to install it on different hard drives, but the "My Cheat Tables" folder ensists on being created on the C: drive under my documents and thats where the problem is. I have even permitted the setup file throught Windows Defender and still the error occurs...

Funny thing is that on my W10 Education school laptop cheat engine installed just fine the first time. Both my pc's are W10 Education and i tried the same installation file on both. If i wont find a soulution whithin a week i will reinstall windows.... Please help :/

Udpate.
I Created another PC user and tried installing cheat engine again, still got the same error.

i would recommend reinstall, or change your os. (me ... Win7 user-forever)

Special thanks to atm0s for mentioning the firewall.

I managed to solve this problem by disabling "Real-time protection" in Virus & threat protection setting menu in Windows Defender Security Center, W10.
