For some reason I cannot get cheat engine to work correctly with this game. I have had no issues getting inf health with other games. The Hp bar has a /. Right now I am at 59/59 hp. And when I take a hit the Hp bar will decrease to 53/59. I have tried "exact value", "decrease Value" and "increase value". Usually use 4 Byte. But I tried Float to no avail as well.

I vaguely remember a post about some games being encrypted. Does that mean that Cheat Engine will not work at all?

this may mean that some data is stored encrypted (eg. xor+bias) in memory.
So you cant scan for e.g. 59 and then 53 - because the memory address shows a value of 2347891798 or 8279344123, which resolves through decryption back to 53 and 59.

Thats a way some developer try to make it harder for us.
You may of course still scan for changed/unchanged value and observe what happens. This takes longer than scanning for explicit values.
