Cheat Engine

OK so here's a strange one that I'm hoping someone can help me fix. If I try to use CheatEngine 6.7 with the game FrostPunk it doesn't work. What I mean by this is whenever I search for a value of any memory type, it brings back a small list of variables almost instantly and then when doing a further search for changed values it doesn't find anything.

Now here is the kicker, if I uninstall and reinstall CheatEngine 6.7 then it will work properly for one play session, if I close and reopen CE it stops working again. I know if it's going to work or not because when it's working the processes list will have the proper icon next to the FrostPunk listing, if the icon is missing then CE isn't going to work.

I've never come across anything like this before and reinstalling CE everytime I want to use it with FP isn't a very sustainable work around.

I look forward to hearing if anyone else has come across this and has a fix.

I've also discovered that the same thing applies to BattleTech as well.

Hasn't happened to me at all and i must have spent hours on both ForstPunk and BattleTech with CE.

My guess is you have an antivirus that is deleting some of CE's files or interfering with it.
