Cheat Engine

i was redownloading the installer for Cheat Engine but every time i go to launch it it just disappears on me. it isn't being cleaned up by my firewall or antivirus since it does it even after i disable them momentarily and it also doesn't get fixed by the repair tool on the main page. any ideas what i can do?

EDIT: i should also note that i've tried installing it from Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Safari and i even resorted to IE so it isn't Chrome messing with me like i had thought after turning my firewall and antivirus off

Something on your computer is deleting your files without your permission. It's probably your antivirus or some other security program (disabling it may not actually stop it).

Try installing it manually using the no setup version on the downloads page.

idk what was causing it but i restarted my computer and it finally worked lol oh well
