How do I cheat?

This program does not work on anything except itself in the tutorial.
I have tried it on games I play in Bluestacks (the android emulator) and I have tried it on games I have installed from disc on my PC.

It has no problem finding an exact value, and showing it as changed within CE itself, but it does not change in game - and hence is useless.

I am probably too angry about all the time I have wasted on this to read helpful replies, but tomorrow may be different. Please assist IF you can.

Edit > Settings > Scan Settings > [x] MEM_MAPPED
