How does one use an avatar now adays? Way back when I used imageshack but nothing seems to work for it, it always tells me that it's not able to use the links to the image that I give.

If it works, follow the steps below;

Go to Imgur: https://imgur.com/

Upload an image in the upload header.
Come on the picture
Click on the punctuation menu in the top right,
Choose "Sharing Options"
Finally; Copy and use the link that is .gif, .jpeg or .png.

Haha, unfortunately I got hit with another one, though this one is a bit more comical and less of a technical error: You have not yet been deemed worthy enough to have an avatar.

I'd be willing to wager it's due to my low post count? Also, does this mean that other links from imgur, say from one I upload will work? Which one did you use by chance? Image or direct? Also, thank you for your help.

Yes you can get any image link from Imgur.
Things to pay attention;
The image must be defined at the end of the connection (.png, .gif, .jpeg etc.)
Watch out for your pixel, like 120x120.

Yes, it's been a long time, I forgot.
You need a little more active sharing and time at CEF.

That must be a somewhat relatively new thing, I recall being here around 2007 and I had a real issue then since I was a teenager of forgetting passwords. I don't remember this being an issue back then but I do also have somewhat of a shoddy memory. Anyway, thank you for your help, I'll just keep being active and try it again at a later date.
