Hello, I have no idea how I would do this.
So there is a game that I've been playing around with for a few days. But I've hit a wall.... I would like to remove a certain part of the code that regulates the speed of the game (I was looking at the source code and saw the function). But have no idea how to find this code in cheat engine and how to remove it.I have looked on the forums for a good hour (and some you-tube videos) and could not find any solution to this problem, sorry if this has been answered many times in the past . I probably sound so nooby.

| why cant you use speedhack anyway? i dont think that there is such a code if there was and u delete it, it would freeze the game

Yes you can just speed hack, but the game auto disconnects you when you slowdown/speedup the game. no jokes this is the variables name "Score_Error_Disabled"
Edit- I've deleted it and recompiled it in older version of the game but now the game auto-updates if the client is edited :c

First, if I were you I'd use my IDE (I'm guessing you're using visual studio) to see the assembly code of that function after I compile it. Then I'd view it in CE and craft an AOB scan to locate it.
Second what you're trying to do might be pointless since you're hacking an online game: imagine a mob takes 2s to run up to you, and it takes you 2s to melee kill it at normal speed. If you play the game at 2x speed, the mob will reach you in 1s and you'll kill it in 1s, as a result the mob is dead 2s after spotting you... Only on your computer, because for every other player (+the server) the mob barely reached you. Thus you are desynchronised (your game is now totally different than everyone else's), a decent online game will try to resynch you, and if it fails, it'll kick you.

Then please don't use the term "client" for games that are not online or network-played. Client implies that there is a server, which is not on the same computer than the client except in rare and weird cases (ie: sacred 2).
Anyway, if it's not online you can simply block the game and/or its auto updater in your firewall and use the library you compiled.

The games name is "Osu!" if you really care xD
Also the speed hack part isnt the problem, I found a exploit to do it easy (it tries to stop you x3)
